this thread is dedicated to the police and law enforcement in united states of america... how do you feel about police in america? -By and large, I think most cops in America are hard-working, law-abiding people who do a frankly dangerous job for a pittance of money...do you think they are becoming too dangerous and out of control? -In some areas, yes; in others, not so much...do you think there's racism in police departments? -To quote the words of the late LAPD Chief, William Parker..."We're always going to have problems like this because we have to recruit from the human race."do you think police are racially profiling? -Not off-hand, no. Police profile criminal acts & criminal behavior...unfortunately, a good deal of that behavior is committed by minority individuals, which puts police in a no-win situation here.do you think america is becoming a police state? -If not, we're on our way to becoming one.
