Until proven otherwise... proof? like how machines have been replacing humans in the workplace for how long now?

Until proven otherwise... proof? like how machines have been replacing humans in the workplace for how long now? ...and that's a bad thing in what ways again?

...and that's a bad thing in what ways again? helps crush economies and helps unemployment... People've said that every time a new technology or a new innovation comes along and most times, nothing ill comes to pass.

helps crush economies and helps unemployment... People've said that every time a new technology or a new innovation comes along and most times, nothing ill comes to pass. maybe because you can't see it from a big picture... do the research, technology has it's good and bad side of it, technology replacing humans have been happening and will continue to happen... technology helps destroy businesses and services as well, even though technology starts and create other businesses and services...

Justice, I am looking at it form the 35,000-ft level...and I still wonder why people look at technology as they do at times; its' as if some would rather us stay hidebound to past technologies and past ideas instead of looking forward and embracing the future with both hands.

*continues previous thought* Now, don't get me wrong: technology can be used for evil purposes...anything can be used for evil purposes. To me, technology is akin to money: it is itself neither good nor evil...it is the use of the product that makes the difference, something I think people oft-times forget.

Suffice it to say, we agree to disagree. it's hard to disagree with history and facts, but okay... one example is the self check out lanes, which made humans irrelevant, besides the one person that stands there to fix things when a human or the machine messes up...
