i knew this was coming... Its' not Skynet, for crying out loud...and just think of the civilian technologies that could come from it.

Its' not Skynet, for crying out loud...and just think of the civilian technologies that could come from it. not yet, eh? No, but if one could spare not worrying about the soldiers tasked with driving these behemoths, I'll take the robot tech in a heartbeat. Plus, as with other similar tech, there are civilian applications here that could be used as well.
