well, everyone has their opinion on this, and this topic is still running wild 'til this very day and will be in discussions in the future too... so what do you think? did america land on the moon or was it a hoax? why or why not? is this a true conspiracy? if not or if so, on what grounds?

America landed on the moon. My proof is that if we are to reach the moon again any time soon, we will fiond the flag there. This I can guarantee.

Why haven't america been back or any other country been to the moon yet?
I heard that the usa's air force has mini-shuttles that can easily go to the moon and back...

Why haven't america been back or any other country been to the moon yet? For starters, its' expensive as hell to do so...and no date, no one but the U.S. has had the political will to go there; even though the science is there to go, if you don't have the political will, you're not going to go, period.

One problem there: when the U.S. landed on the moon back in 1969, it was the height of the Cold War...it would stretch all known incredulities to imagine that the Soviets, were they to suspect that we were trying to pull one on the rest of the world here, wouldn't scream bloody f'n murder over it. And remember, the Soviets had tried to build a capable moon landing program and couldn't quite get it to work, so they would've had every reason to be suspicious of us and yet, when Apollo 11 succeeded in landing on the moon in July 1969, one of the first countries to congratulate the United States on its' success...was the Soviet Union.

(1)According to information contained within the Venona Project, we know the following: a-that the Soviets were tracking our spacecraft as they traveled to/from the moon, just as we were tracking our spacecraft as they went to and fro and that, b-that they also were tracking communications between our spacecraft and U.S. stations back on Earth. Now, unless the laws of physics were screwed up back in 1969, we know that it takes roughly 1.5 seconds for communications to go between the moon and the earth, which means anyone who was listening in would've known something was up if communications were instantaneous or quicker than 1.5 seconds. (2)There's another easy way to tell whether we landed on the moon or not: on each of the six Apollo flights that traveled to the moon, one of the science experiments involved leaving behind mirrored platforms directed back at the earth, which scientists would point lasers at in order to measure the distance - the exact distance - between the two celestial bodies. Now, unless someone slipped those mirrors up there w/out anyone knowing about it, the only way they got there was via' astronauts, which means they landed up there. Its' an experiment astronomers have been doing for well over 4 decades now...and it still works to this day.

1) there's proof that audio was messed with, prolonged, edited, etc. as well as it would be easy to trick the russians with tracking devices, plus the technology was very poor at that time... now show me proof that the ussr was tracking activity or all of it and where's the data?
2) that's also not proof that there were humans on the moon, unmanned missions could easily put those mirrors on the moon long after those missions, if the mirrors are up there that is... there's been a lot of non-government scientists and researchers that became obsessed with finding those mirrors yet failed to do so... just because the government tells you something doesn't make it true, you should know that by now...
